Can-Tech Services is currently looking for Candidates for a Full-Time position located in the North York Area (Keele and Steeles) to work as a Quality Inspector on Afternoon shift (Training on Days) 

Shift Time:

Day Shift Training- Monday to Thursday 7:15 am to 4:30 pm and Friday 7:15 am to 3 pm
Afternoon shift – Monday to Thursday – 4:30 pm to 1:45 am, and Friday – 3:00 pm to 11 pm.

Pay: $20.75/hr.  ($20.00 (For Days) plus $0.75 shift Premium) for Afternoon

Duties & Responsibilities
•    Ensure parts / products match drawings
•    Check, identify and record deficiency of any part / product use red tag as required
•    Apply appropriate quality stickers as required
•    Update receiving inspection forms and maintaining inspection records
•    Issue Quality reports and maintain Quality Report Log
•    Follow up production, engineering and buyers on RGA (Return Goods Authorization)
•    Follow up with supervisors as required for the implementation of ISO9001 Quality System
•    Un-strap & strap products on skids
Skills & Qualifications
•    Ability to read and understand drawing dimensions and tolerances
•    Knowledge in the use of measurement instruments calipers, feeler & angle gauge to measure parts
•    Ability to read, write and speak in English
•    Able to write reports and deal with all departments
•    Computer literate, basic knowledge of MS Word, MS Excel, Google Forms etc.
•    Ability to lift to 40 lbs. is required for inspecting incoming parts / products
•    Consistently follow all safety requirements and demonstrate good initiatives for working safely
•    Knowledge of Quality Standards
