Description:Can-Tech Services, a leader in employment solutions for over 40 years, is currently hiring Machine Operators for a long-term opportunity with one of our valued clients.
Location: Near Dufferin Street & Steeles Avenue
Shifts Available: Day and Afternoon
We are seeking reliable, motivated individuals with at least 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable company that offers long-term employment and growth potential.

Shift Times: 
 Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:30 pm – 2 am, Friday 3:30 pm – 12:00 am
Pay rate: 
Day shift – $18.50 /hr. 
Afternoon shift – $19.00 /hr.

Main Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operator 
 Main Duties/Tasks

  1. Operate and safely load parts into machinery
  2. Assembly and rework of parts using drills, grinders, buffers, etc.
  3. Prepare parts for welding
  4. Material handling, stacking metal parts, and packaging
  5. Performs required quality checks to ensure product is in compliance and in specifications
  6. Notifies Group Leader and/or Supervisor(s) of product defects or other serious occurrence
  7. Document and record all necessary information/data as per work cards and other company requirements
  8. Performs equipment operational checks with Supervisor assistance
  9. Performs proper housekeeping, clean-up and 5S requirements
  10. Performs all duties according to safety standards and company policies
  11. Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time (such as cleaning and sweeping of workstations)
