Can-Tech Services is currently looking for Candidates for a Full-Time position located in the North York  (Dufferin & Steels) area to work as Machine Operator on Days and Afternoons.

Shift Times: 
Day Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:00am – 4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm
Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday 4:30 pm – 2 am, Friday 3:30 pm – 12:00 am

Pay rate:  $ 18.50/hr. ($ 0.50/hr. Shift premiums for Afternoons)

Main Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operator 
 Main Duties/Tasks

1. Must have 3 -5 years of experience in manufacturings
2. Operate and safely load parts into machinery
3. Assembly and rework of parts using drills, grinders, buffers, etc.
4. Prepare parts for welding
5. Material handling, stacking metal parts, and packaging
6. Performs required quality checks to ensure product is in compliance and in specification
7. Performs equipment operational checks with Supervisor assistance
8. Performs proper housekeeping, clean-up and 5S requirements
9. Performs all duties according to safety standards and company policies
10. Any other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to time (such as cleaning and sweeping of work stations)
