Description:Electronic Systems Engineering – EAR Engine Controls
            
Location:   Savannah, GA 
Salary:  $161.12 USD/hour – based on experience
Contract Duration: 1 Year + (up to 4 years)

Unique Skills:
•    Candidate must be a Gulfstream ODA UM with the following authority in the following areas: ·
Airplane Turbine Engine (Authorized Area = A) and Auxiliary Power Unit (Authorized Area = E) with indicating and control system- electronic authorized functions
•    First Shift

Experience/Education:
•    Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, a related curriculum required or equivalent combination of appropriate education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job
•    15+ years progressively responsible engineering experience in specific tech discipline with Bachelors
•    Experience credit considered for related advanced degrees limited to 2 years Masters, 4 years PhD in fields applicable to this job
•    Requires approval of Eng PRB including bus justification

Position Purpose:
Responsible for the design, research and development of advanced new applications resulting in new product/business for the company

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
1.    Plans R&D programs and recommends technological application programs to meet corporate objectives 
2.    Proactively promotes process initiatives that improve the balance of technical product, cost and schedule
3.    Applies cutting edge theories and technologies by exhibiting an exceptional degree of ingenuity, creativity and resourcefulness
4.    Champions and develops innovative principles and ideas
5.    Often acts independently and exercises wide latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments
6.    As a recognized expert in the field, provides consultative services to senior/executive leaders both within the company and the industry

Other Requirements: 
1.    Advanced degree in engineering or related curriculum preferred
2.    The level of technical skill and abilities appropriate for this grade will be established by each discipline
