Description:Digital Process Specialist, MRO Methods 

Location: Ajax, ON   
Term: 12 month contract (extendable) 
Shift: Monday – Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am – 12:30 pm
Pay Rate: $45 – $50 per hour (based on experience)  

Job Summary:
This role is for a temporary short-term position in the Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul Methods team.

Responsibilities: 
•    The incumbent will be responsible for modernizing technical repair instructions from its existing format to operate within the ShopVue Manufacturing Execution System (MES)
•    This role will act as the methods lead within the Paperless Traveller Initiative in the MRO shop and will require drafting technical instructions for various civil and military maintenance processes and releasing within the MES web app utilizing JSON conversion tools
•    This role will include coordinating with other internal MRO office and shop functions to optimize existing repair methods and ensure their function through testing milestones within the paperless MES environment
•    Creating technical repair instructions within ShopVue Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and supporting documentation and user forms
•    Create process mapping to support troubleshooting and to optimize repair processes within Manufacturing Execution System constraints
•    Implement testing plan of new processes within MES environment
•    Tracking process plan implementation status of repair instruction standards
•    Update SAP business system with repair process standards
•    Create and maintain documentation for end users

Qualifications:
•    University degree or College diploma in Engineering or related discipline
•    Minimum of 5 years of working experience in the aerospace industry
•    Able to read and interpret Manufacturing Drawings, Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerances, Boeing, Military, industry specifications, and Component Maintenance Manuals
•    Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and SharePoint; SAP
•    Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment
•    Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
•    Previous experience with ShopVue MES or other JSON data conversion tools considered an asset
•    Previous experience in manufacturing process planning and configuration control considered an asset
•    Previous experience in a Maintenance Repair Organization (MRO) environment considered an asset
