We are currently looking for candidates that would be interested in being a Sewing Machine operator. This is a long-term opportunity located in North York in the Dufferin and Steeles area on a day shifts.  

Must have experience doing Single and Double Needle and working with thick materials (Leather and canvas). Please show on your resume.

Shift Time: Day Shift – Monday to Friday 7:30 am to 4:00 pm

Starting Pay Rate: $20.00

Brief Job Description:   
SEWING MACHINE OPERATOR – Single and Double Needle Machine Operator

Objective: Create stitches in materials (fabric, leather, vinyl) used for the production of coverings for seating products.

Essential Duties

• Obtain materials from a conveyor line specifically directed to the job station.
• Inspect work pieces for defects and remove any defective pieces
• Orient the piece or pieces of material, sometimes over a foam pad as well insert into the sewing machine operating area

• Activate the machine using a foot pedal (“treadle”) the completed piece back onto the conveyor only if self-passed as satisfactory…
