Can-Tech Services is currently looking for Candidates for a Full-Time position located in the North York Area (Dufferin and Steeles) to work as a MIG Welder on Afternoon Shift.

Shift Time: 

Afternoon Shift: Monday – Thursday 4:30pm – 2am, Friday 3:30pm – 12:30am

Pay rate: $ 20 – $ 23 (Depending on Experience) 

Duties & Responsibilities as MIG Welder 
 

• Select and set up welding equipment, execute the planned welds, and examine the welds to ensure that they meet specifications for quality control purposes
• Completes parts according to work order and blueprint specifications
• Pushes part to next operation on conveyor line, or stacks onto transfer table to transport
• Uses appropriate fixtures where required
• Good understanding of set up techniques
• Checks safety guards or other safety equipment on all machinery/equipment handled
• Ensuring work area is kept clean and free from hazard
• Other duties as assigned
