Hybrid: After completion of Training Period.
3 days onsite and rotational Fridays. 2 days WFH.
Job Description:
Provides end-to-end recruitment services through the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles, helping us build strong, diverse talent pipelines. The key focus of this role is on identifying, sourcing and attracting high performing talent and passive job seekers leveraging social media channels and other means for roles across the organization. Inputs into overall hiring strategy to ensure our teams consist of a diverse set of qualified individuals
• Identify & utilize social media channels,(e.g. LinkedIn Groups, Twitter, Instagram) and database mining to promote open positions and to identify relevant, diverse talent who may be passive job seekers (e.g. IN mails).
• Proactively source, qualify & screen resumes assessing candidate’s information refining down to the most suitable talent from available candidates for various open positions.
• Form strong relationships with hiring managers to define new hire requirements & candidate qualifications to ensure clear candidate expectations. Prepare Service Level Agreement established for all hires. Consultation with managers to provide guidance, expertise & collaboration to hire the best diverse talent for our growing teams & to gain a comprehensive understanding of the hiring needs.
• Develop & release job postings based on job descriptions on all platforms internally & externally such as social media & job boards. Create interview questions reflecting position requirements.
• Organize & attend job fairs & recruitment events to build a strong candidate pipeline.
• Stay active & current with job boards, social networks & platforms to find talent. Actively promote Safran’s brand and our unique value proposition and affirm our position in the market as an Employer of Choice. Actively participate in Safran’s branding projects.
• Liaise with educational partners to ensure Safran’s brand is recognized with people soon to be entering the job market (e.g. Co-op/internships/apprenticeships/career fairs etc.)
• Conduct interviews & recommend candidates for further consideration & hire. Prepare appropriate recruitment related documentation & reports; reference checking, negotiating final offers (as approved).
• Liaise with external recruitment agencies where required.
• Administer employee referral program & conduct new start induction & employee orientation.
• Keep accurate database of all materials used for recruitment, with interview notes, candidate records, including active & passive prospects & other candidate relationships and related information to share with key stakeholders.
• Establish meaningful relationships with candidates, building & maintaining a resource network through thoughtful engagement practices. Manage candidates throughout process from screening interviews to final offer negotiation ensuring a positive candidate experience.
• Deliver and track against set metrics to provide consistent results and data-backed progress on end to end
Experience with full-cycle recruiting, sourcing & working with diverse talent & using various interview techniques & evaluation methods with robust interviewing skills.
Proven track record in sourcing top talent leveraging social networking tools; extensive experience with LinkedIn Talent Solutions.
Demonstrated Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (experience with Talent Soft an asset); tech-savvy with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Experience building relationships with internal & external customers (hiring managers, vendors, candidates, employees)
Ability to devise sourcing & recruiting strategies for potential applicants & comfort using data to help drive decisions
Ability to work in fast paced environment with time-sensitive deadlines.
•Effective influencing skills
•Established strengths in utilizing all third-party job boards (Indeed etc.), internet search, LinkedIn, as well as other relevant social media tools to proactively identify top performers.
•Demonstrated ability for data mining and gathering market intelligence & MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
•Integrity and professionalism with knowledge of relevant government legislation.
•Proven ability to be a team player in a collaborative environment; adept at working with multiple people with different backgrounds at any given time.
Experience in other areas of HR (as asset).
Education &/or Certifications: University degree or equivalent in related discipline; CHRP (an asset)
Work Experience: 1-2 years of full-cycle recruitment experience using various interview techniques & evaluation methods. Ideally experience in aerospace, engineering or manufacturing environment. Experience in using LinkedIn Talent solutions to proactively source candidates & applicant tracking solutions.
Specialized Knowledge: Leveraging social networking tools; Adapts seamlessly to new situations, demonstrates technical aptitude; process driven -constantly looking for ways to make things work more efficiently. Highly organized with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks while managing their work time efficiently; superb attention to detail. Flexibility: able to shift tasks and priorities at the drop of a hat; comfortable working with ambiguity. Builds an inclusive Culture.
Communication Skills
Internal: Effective communications skills (both oral & written); excellent interpersonal skills as working with others across different departments often.
External: Comfort communicating effectively with a diverse set of stakeholders (vendors, candidates etc.) (both oral & written)
