Can-Tech Services is currently looking for candidates for a Contract position in North York near Keele & Steeles Intersection area. The opportunity is as a Cycle Counter on Day Shift

Day Shift: Monday to Friday – 7:00 am -4:30 pm

Pay Rate – $19.50 /hr.

 

Duration: 1-2 months (It may lead into a similar permanent role)
 

 
Position Summary

The Inventory Control Cycle Counter is responsible for ensuring the integrity between physical and book inventory counts and values. They also provide guidance in cycle counting activities and recommend and implement strategies to improve inventory accuracy.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
 
Responsible for receiving and inventory control as well as monitoring assembly department parts requirements. Support Assembly and Inventory department.
 
SPECIFIC ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate all incoming shipments .
• Ensures timely and accurate receipt of product to support production team .
• Ensure all incoming shipments have been received, prepare necessary documents and reports, and put them away in a timely manner.  
• Ensure all documentation is complete and signed appropriately .
• Evaluate receiving records and perform actions as required .
• Manage and maintain accurate inventory records and conduct cycle counts.
• Prepare and reconcile all inventory related issues, BOM issues and present at meeting to identify resolutions.
• Conduct regular root cause analysis on inventory discrepancies and identify opportunities for improvements to avoid production delays, stock outs etc.
• Monitor inventory levels and create purchase order requisitions for suppliers as needed to ensure the uninterrupted production operation.
• Perform regular inventory analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all policies and procedures and manage inventory for organization.
• Collaborate with cross functional departments such as Engineering, Production, and Order entry to assure accurate materials planning and inventory coordination.

 QUALIFICATIONS / EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• College diploma
• Strong communication skills
• Good computer skills
• Office Furniture / Wood knowledge would be an asset
