Shifts available: Days/ Afternoons/ Nights
Duties and Responsibilities:

Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.

Install, align, dismantle, and move stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment
-
Operate hoisting and lifting devices to position machinery and parts during installation and repair.

Inspect and examine machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.

Diagnose malfunctions using diagnostic tools and testing instruments

Troubleshoot and maintain power transmission, hydraulic, pneumatic, and programmable logic control systems.

Respond to emergency breakdown calls and perform repairs to minimize downtime

Adjust machinery and replace defective parts as needed.

Perform routine maintenance, including lubrication and cleaning of machinery.

Document maintenance and repair activities, parts usage, and equipment history

Collaborate with production teams to coordinate planned maintenance schedules
-
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company procedures

Train and mentor junior technicians as required

Qualifications
- Valid 433A Industrial Millwright
- Experience in industrial maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- Experience with welding and fabrication an asset
- Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
- Knowledge of diagnostic tools and repair techniques.
Work Environment
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday
- May require occasional weekend work for major repairs or installations
- Work is performed in a manufacturing facility with exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at all times on the production floor
- Some tasks may require working at heights or in confined spaces
