Can-Tech Services is looking for a Dual Ticket Millwright & Electrician for one of our reputable Steel Fabrication & Manufacturing clients for their facility in the Niagara region.

This position combines specialized mechanical and electrical skills to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair our manufacturing equipment and systems. The ideal candidate will possess both millwright and electrician certifications and have experience in industrial settings, particularly in steel fabrication.

Type of Employment:

Full time/Permanent directly on the client’s payroll.

Pay: Rate is $42-$50 per hour.

Location: Niagara Region (St. Catherines)

Hours of work:

Full-time position, Monday to Friday with a rotation to afternoon shift once per month, as well as on-call responsibilities during weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Valid 433A Industrial Millwright & 442A Industrial Electrician licenses (Dual Ticket required)

• Minimum 3-5 years of experience in an industrial setting, preferably in steel fabrication

• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in electrical systems

• Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems

• Proficiency with precision measuring instruments

• Knowledge of PLC controls and automation systems

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manuals

• Experience with welding and fabrication an asset

• Knowledge of applicable safety regulations and procedures

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

• Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions
