Description:Machine Operator I                          

Location: Walton, KY 
Term: Contract position – 3 months (extendable)
Shift: 12 hour shifts, 6:00-6:00, 2-2-3 alternating shift, rotating days and nights every 8 week  
Pay Rate: $21.10 per hour – based on experience

Shift Times: 
•    Rotating 12-hour 2-2-3 schedule
•    Switch from days/nights every 8 weeks
•    All these positions will train day shift M-F 6 AM – 2:30 PM for the first month and then go to their associated team

Responsibilities: 
•    Ensure a quality product by performing checks and inspections as defined in visual work instructions and SOPs
•    Proper and efficient handling of materials and associated work orders to ensure product traceability
•    Monitor equipment condition and perform basic daily equipment checks and cleaning
•    Adhere to required housekeeping and safety requirements for the manufacturing areas within the facility
•    Execute work processes as defined in visual work instructions and standard operating procedures
•    Load and unload CNC machining center pallets and parts carriers
•    Perform parts measurements and quality checks using digital height gages and calipers; also go / no-go and thread gages
•    Enter work order confirmations in Traceability software
•    Record measurement data in MMS /QC Gage databases
•    Follow all procedures administered by safety, quality, process engineering, and facilities engineering
•    Perform other related duties as required
•    Wear safety goggles for twelve hour periods
