Description:HSE Technician

Location: Carson, CA    
Term: 4-month contract position 
Shift: Monday to Friday – 6 am to 2:30 pm   
Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience)  

Candidates need to have knowledge of the following:
•    Legal requirements in a manufacturing facility: i.e. OSHA
•    ISO Standards
•    Accident Investigation and Corrective Action
•    Supplier Optimization
•    Training and Development
•    Risk Impact Analysis – would be working with Process Improvement team, and monitor the flow process, create process flow, and analyze the process currently being used and improve is needed
•    Daily Gemba walks – looking for process deviation, incorrect and unsafe practices. (Data recorded in Safran internal system)
•    Making related purchases when needed (using excel), working with existing and sourcing suppliers)
•    Training
•    Investigation of issues

Qualifications:
•    Engineering / Bachelors Degree in Environmental, Chemistry, Industrial Biology or related field
•    1 – 3 years in similar positions
•    Software: Microsoft Office, SAP, Software HSE
