Description:IS Server Desk Technician

Location: Ajax, ON   
Term: Contract position – 12 months
Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday – 7:30 am to 12:30 pm   
Pay Rate: $25 – $30 per hour (based on experience)  

Responsibilities: 
• First point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance via ticketing system, phone or email
• Manage tickets in a timely manner according to defined SLA
• Provide hardware/software support for end-users
• Perform remote troubleshooting
• Setup-up/install OS (Windows 10 / 11)
• Support Microsoft apps (Teams, Visio, Project, Access etc.)
• Image PCs
• Basic network troubleshooting
• Basic active directory tasks (modifications to group membership, password reset etc.),
• Create and update IS documentation
• Record requests, problems and their resolution in logs
• Identify and suggest possible improvements
