Description:Machine Shop Coordinator 

Location: Ajax, ON    
Term: Contract position – 12 months (extendable) 
Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 4 pm, Friday 7:30 to 12:30 pm    
Pay Rate: $24 – $27 per hour (based on experience)  

**Controlled Goods Clearance is mandatory**

Job Summary: 
Reporting to Machine Shop Operations Team Leader, the successful individual, working with the Machine Shop team will be responsible for the overall coordination of activities within the Machine Shop for quality driven activities and data analysis. This includes cross functional collaboration with multiple departments to drive production requirements.

Responsibilities: 
•    Build reports on production quality for detailed analysis to drive improvement
•    Collaborate cross functionally to drive priority management for production
•    Assist the planning team, the flow of work throughout the Machine Shop
•    Provide back up support to Machine Shop Operations Team Leader
•    Manage the RWK/NCR process flow through the Machine shop
•    Create, maintain, and publish daily/weekly status reports/ KPI as required.
•    Participate in Continuous Improvement projects relating to Machine Shop
•    Focal for Machine Shop out of flow

Qualifications:
•    0 – 2 years experience
•    College Diploma /University Degree
•    Proficient computer skills
•    Microsoft Office software – advanced Excel Skills; Power BI would be an asset
•    Experience in administrative functions
•    Results oriented
•    Excellent problem solving and organizational skills
•    Strong communication and interpersonal skills
