Description:Full Stack Developer

Location: Ajax, ON    
Term: 12 month contract (extendable) 
Shift: Monday to Thursday 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 7:30 am to 12:30 pm   
Pay Rate: $51 – $65 per hour (based on experience)  

Job Summary: 
•    Main skills: Javascript, .NET, Dockers, experience with Cloud like Azure and AWS
•    Hybrid work: it is up to 3 days working from home. But they will require for him/her to be on site every day at the beginning
•    Number of interviews: ideally in person, but they are flexible
•    Experience: Cloud can be 2 – 3 years, however candidates need to have 5 to 7 years’ experience as a Full Stack Developer
•    This role will be working 75% front with 25% backend
•    Bilingual is nice to have
•    Prior Aerospace experience not needed

Responsibilities: 
•    Managing the complete lifecycle of a Web application from conception to sustaining
•    Develop all elements required for the application, from user interface to data management
•    Ensure the developing loop with the customers: work closely with the customers to define their needs, work closely with Architecture Team to design the application architecture, design and build the application, implement it and ensure support and evolutions
•    Create and modify the applications using the frameworks and standards from the company
•    Develop and maintain programs to extract, transform and load all types of data (structured and non structured)
•    Peer Review and ensure code quality and respect to the standards
•    Write associated technical documentation
•    Manage the activities following Agile Methodology

Qualifications:
•    A recognized University degree in IT, IS, Computer Science/ Business, or Mathematics
•    5 to 7 years experience as a Full Stack Developer
•    3 to 5 years of experience with Cloud Technologies – however, Cloud can be 2 – 3 years

Technical Skills/Expertise:
•    Object Oriented language (Java)
•    Front End Framework VueJS or similar
•    .NET
•    SQL and NoSQL Databases
•    API/Web services
•    Containers (Docker / Kubernetes / Open Shift)
•    Cloud Experience (AWS, Azure, GCP – A Developer or Solution Architect Certification is an asset
•    GIT
•    Python
•    ETL
•    Knowledge of Agile and DevOps framework
