Can-Tech Services has been in business for over 40 years, and boasts a diverse and experienced team of recruiters. Our client, a leader in the automotive industry, is looking for an HR Administrator for permanent employment in Concord.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with new hire orientations as required .
  • Issue Performance Review forms as needed.
  • Assist with creation of employee ID (Proxy) cards.
  • Track milestone dates for probation progress reviews.
  • Creating and maintaining training records on database with backup documentation on file.
  • Coordinate scheduling and training.
  • Coordinate employee trainings.
  • Maintaining hrs of training for QOS report.
  • Issue the certificate for internal WHMIS & Forklift Training.
  • Ensure the equipment, material, meal & training room were ready for the training.
  • Assist with creation of internal and external job posting.
  • Review resumes.
  • Arrange interviews as required.
  • Perform reference checks as required.
  • Assist with Coordinating and maintaining of records of Kaizen activities including setup and schedule for Foundations (Cross-divisional), and other Kaizen trainings as required.
  • Maintaining accurate records for GEAR program.
  • Check, order & replace Health & Safety supply on weekly basics.
  • Track the work wear invoice on monthly basics.
  • Maintain up to date files for Min. of Environment Manifests, MSDS, Prescription Safety Glasses program.
  • Assist with annual Quality of Work Life Survey.
  • Participate in continuous improvement program including Kaizen and GEAR activities.
  • Work in a safe manner at all times.
  • Adopt and practice Kaizen Principles and Concepts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Work in compliance and conform to QS9000, TS16949 and ISO14001 standards.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Previous experience working in Human Resources Department would be an asset
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to deal with a variety of people from different organizations
  • Ability to interact with all levels of employees in a multicultural environment
  • Computer literate in Windows based systems i.e.: Excel/MSWord
  • Ability to read, write and speak English
