Can-Tech Services is looking for a Production Supervisor for itsmanufacturing client in the North York area. It is for a day shift opportunity. The company is one of the industry leaders within the Office Furniture manufacturing industry. This division specializes in the long term care facility sector.

Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives following lean manufacturing principles
• Schedule production and ensure targets are met
• Maintain a safe working environment
• Performance appraisal of direct reports and provide training / counselling
• Assist in recruitment of production staff

Qualifications:

• 5 to 10 years experience of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment
• College diploma in engineering or business admin an asset
• Mechanically inclined
• Good communication, leadership, time management, and decision making skills
